SQL

Run queries against a connected SQL database. It’s listed under the development category in the toolkit type picker.

Prerequisites

• A connection string or host/port/database details for the target database, saved in Elitea as a sql credential (/credentials/create-credential/sql). The database must be reachable from the worker.

Connect the toolkit

1. Open the toolkit type picker

   In the left navigation, open Toolkits, then select New. Filter the type picker by the development category, or search for “SQL”.

2. Pick or create a credential

   Under the credential field, choose an existing sql credential, or select Create credential to add one without leaving the form.

3. Save

   Name the toolkit and select Create. It’s now available to attach to agents, pipelines and conversations in this project.

Common issues

Note

There’s no connection check on this form. Save the toolkit, then run one read-only tool from the editor’s Test tools pane to confirm the credential works before attaching SQL to an agent.
