Artifact

The Artifact toolkit gives an agent, pipeline or conversation direct read/write access to a bucket of files stored in Elitea’s own artifact storage — the same buckets you can browse under Artifacts. It’s listed under the storage category in the toolkit type picker.

  • A bucket to point the toolkit at, or permission to create one from the toolkit form itself.
  • If you want the toolkit to index file contents for retrieval: an embedding model, configured under AI providers.
  1. Open the toolkit type picker

In the left navigation, open Toolkits, then select New. Filter the type picker by the storage category, or search for “Artifact”.

  2. Pick a bucket

Choose an existing bucket, or use the toolkit’s own Create new bucket tool the first time an agent needs one — no separate credential is required to reach your own project’s storage.

  3. Add indexing settings (optional)

If you plan to index the bucket’s contents, set an embedding model. Indexes are kept in the platform’s vector store, so there is no vector-storage setting to pick. Leave it empty to use the toolkit for plain file read/write.

  4. Save

Name the toolkit and select Create. It’s now available to attach to agents, pipelines and conversations in this project.
